Building Excellence
Hilltop Manufacturing (2006) Ltd. was established near Pincher Creek, Alberta, in 2006. What started as a custom fabrication and welding shop has grown into one of the most trusted agricultural equipment manufacturers in southern Alberta — building everything from heavy-duty land rollers and livestock shelters to ICF bracing systems and one-of-a-kind custom steel projects.
From day one, the work has been hands-on. Our shop runs on skilled tradespeople — experienced welders and fabricators who take pride in building things right. We don't outsource our work or cut corners on materials. Every weld, every bend, every finished piece leaves our shop the way we'd want it if it were going onto our own property.
Nearly two decades in, that approach hasn't changed.
Our shop is located just outside Pincher Creek, Alberta — in the heart of working farm and ranch country. We're surrounded by the same customers we serve: farmers and ranchers managing hundreds of acres of hay land, cattle operators running cow-calf and feedlot operations, and contractors building agricultural infrastructure across the region.
That proximity matters. We understand the conditions your equipment operates in — the Alberta wind, the freeze-thaw cycles, the demands of harvest season, the urgency of a machine that needs to be back in the field by morning. We build to match those conditions, not to pass a trade show floor test.
We serve customers across southern Alberta, Canada and the United States of America.
Our Equipment & Capabilities
Hilltop Manufacturing operates a fully equipped fabrication shop with the tools to handle large-scale agricultural builds and precision custom work:
Shear — Precision cutting for flat steel plate and sheet metal
Press brake — Accurate bending for structural components and enclosures
Overhead crane — Heavy lifting for large fabrication and assembly
Forklift — Material handling and finished product staging
Band saw — Clean cuts on structural steel and tubing
Drill press — Precision drilling for mounting, assembly, and structural components
Full welding setup — MIG, flux core, and stick welding across all steel thicknesses
Our team works in full PPE — helmets, FR clothing, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots — on every job, every day. We run a clean, organized shop because good work requires a good environment.
We have 10–16 employees
What We Believe About Building Things
Quality isn't optional.
In agricultural equipment, quality failures don't just cost money — they cost time during seeding or harvest when you can't afford to stop. We overbuild because the consequences of underbuilding are too high.
Custom should be normal.
We've never understood why customers should be forced to compromise on a piece of equipment just because the standard sizes don't fit their operation. Custom fabrication is one of our core offerings, not a premium add-on.
Speed matters, but not more than quality.
We know that when you need equipment, you need it now. We work efficiently and communicate clearly about timelines. We don't overpromise — but we do our best to deliver faster than expected.
